Ellis-Secret of the Incas (1954) - Seattle, summer 1954, I was 8 y.o., my parents
hired live-in babysitter whose husband (Korea war vet--USN) had 2nd job as usher
at fancy movie house in Seattle--uniform, flash light to show patrons to seats--all
that. don't recall name of movie house. Big % of babysitting that summer was sitting
in movie, which was "Secret of the Incas". Can't say how many times I saw it. When
I saw Indiana Jones films years later, instantly recognized source of idea/basic
costume. Tonite on "Retro Cocktail Hour," Yma Sumac's bit solo was b'cast. Gotta
watch this one tonite.
Jerry -Secret of the Incas (1954) - I saw this movie when I was 11 yrs. old. I'm
71 and going to Machu Picchu this Fall. Always wanted to go since I saw the movie.

James -Secret of the Incas (1954) - is the best adventure movie of the entire 1950's,
and that includes KING SOLOMONS MINES and VALLEY OF THE KINGS. Heston is superb as
a slimy precursor to Indiana Jones.
Guy -Secret of the Incas (1954) - I loved this film which took place at Machu Picchu,
before it was overrun with tourists, and the extraordinary voice of Yma Sumac.

Dean -Secret of the Incas (1954) - Thank you Dan for this movie. Charleton Heston
was a great actor. To me, he was as good as Brando.

Tessy-Secret of the Incas (1954) - Nice developing story. Wondering how much Indiana
Jones copied from that movie. Heston as a very ambivalent character.

James -SECRET OF THE INCAS is the greatest adventure/treasure-hunt movie of the
whole of the 1950's.

Secret of the Incas - Adventure. Charlton Heston in what appears to be the inspiration
for the Indian Jones adventures movies.
