Angela - Life with Father (1947) - This is one of my favorites, also! The book was sweet and the movie is very funny, very endearing. Characters are likeable, the story is simple and hilarious and the actors are perfect. Check out how YOUNG and PRETTY Liz Taylor is as young Mary. Not to be missed!

Gloria - If you want to watch a wonderful family film this is it.  It is funny, sweet, and makes you think of your days growing up.  William Powell and Irene Dunn are a perfect match for this movie.
